		<description>I lived in San Diego for seven years and still miss it sometimes.  Good Baja-style Mexican food, great winter weather (it does get a bit humid in the late summer months), and a lot of interesting places to check out for the electronics enthusiast (thanks to San Diego&#039;s military roots).  There were some surplus electronics shops in nearby El Cajon that I used to frequent - Murphys Electronics is the only one I remember now. 

Also of note is the TRW swap meet in Manhattan Beach, which happens once a month in the TRW (now Northrop Grumman) parking lot.

That view of the sunset is something I don&#039;t get here in Texas!</description>
