I’m working on a separate desulfation writeup and I wouldn’t yet rule out the 0-V battery.

Hi Keith, you’ve done very many projects that interest me. So here are a few questions:
- I have several sealed batteries like yours except that at this time they are 0v. Is that a goner for sure?
- How do you plan on desulfating them. I saw a full-wave AC rectification circuit followed a capacitor (5-10uF at rated ACV to current limit the desulfator (dangerous to those that don’t know what they are doing), but that didn’t work for me. The theory is the 60Hz pulses are supposed to do the desulfating).
- How is the bus project doing?

Your mum uses the water most likely for ironing – tap water leaves stains. That’s at least was my mum does, and was thus my source of distilled water for years.

I’m sure you were being careful but it still makes me cringe a bit to see those metal pliers resting across those batteries next to the terminals.
