[Timebase] Page 1 Use the Timebase menu to select the timing format for each channel group: Sync format uses an external clock (usually from the unit under test) to clock the data into the analyzer memory. Each probe selected as Sync must be connected to the appropriate clock signals. At clock rates above 10 MHz the ELSE trigger clause is inoperable. Async format uses the clock generator in the analyzer to clock the data into the analyzer memory. Up to 2 different asynchronous rates may be used simultaneously. Channel groups adjacent to group A may be linked when the Format and Rate match those of group A. Linked channel groups are indicated by inverted video letters in the Group field. Unlinked channels have normal video letters. Glitch capture is selectable independently by group and does not affect the Format or linked status. [Next Page:^ Prev. Page:v Exit Notes:MENU
